Privacy Policy

MarginStack (“we”) provides contribution-margin analytics for Shopify merchants. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Data we process

• Account data (name, email) via Clerk, including when you sign in with Google
• Shopify store data: orders, products, refunds, customer ids/emails for cohort math
• Ad spend from Meta/Google when you connect those accounts
• COGS and shipping costs you upload
• Billing metadata via Razorpay or Shopify Billing

Google user data

If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name and email so we can create and sign you into your MarginStack account. We do not read Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service. We do not sell Google user data. You can disconnect Google from your account at any time and request deletion at the contact below.

Purpose

We use this data solely to calculate unit economics, show dashboards, send alerts/morning briefs, and bill for the service.

Retention & deletion

We honor Shopify GDPR webhooks (`customers/data_request`, `customers/redact`, `shop/redact`). After uninstall or shop redact we disconnect tokens and purge or anonymize store data within 30 days.
